Sending me a discunt offer and a map to a new restaurant is helpful at lunchtime when I am looking for somewhere to eat. The advantage mobile devices have is they know where the user is and what is around them. The tools for marketers aren't quite there at the moment but they will be developed in the near future now the devices are sophisticated enough to support the user applications.
